| Roy Purcell, well known Southwest artist, was responsible for the mural and dioramas depicting the history of Mohave County from prehistoric times to the present. Roy was a Director of the Museum for 2 ½ years in the late 1960s. He created the famous “Journey” murals on a cliff face near Chloride, Arizona. |
